Best Android Keyboard Apps For Free Download

Here are the Top 5 Best Android Keyboard Apps For Free Download:

1. Anysoft Keyboard

Anysoft keyboard app is compatible with all Android 1.5 devices or higher, and has a key arrangement that is detached. It comes with several advantages such as support for more than one language dictionaries that allow you to spell correctly without having to add a custom word to the dictionary. There is auto capitalization of the first word after the full stop, a very handy feature, especially when you are using your phone to write official emails. You get an auto correct option by default that relies on the custom dictionary that you chose.
New tricks specific to the Anysoft keyboard are: double tap on space to type a period, press space once to change from number to letter, swipe gestures, and usage of volume keys to navigate typed text. If your language is not part of the custom dictionary or available for download, you will have to wait until developers work on it.

2. Hacker’s Keyboard

When you try several Android keyboards, you will realize that most of them miss some keys, deemed less frequently used by most users. For the person who hands a true keyboard on their phone, the Hacker’s keyboard Android app is the solution. It comes with a complete key layout that you would find in the traditional laptop or desktop keyboard.

The developers took hint from the AOSP Gingerbread soft keyboard. It gives you a separate interface for number keys, arrow keys, and punctuation keys all in the normal places. You can change the keyboard layout as you would on the PC, to American, Arabic and a host of other languages. You will get five rows of keys for all language formats, and each will be at its traditional space. This keyboard is for someone working with terminal emulators who must use TAB, CTLR or arrow keys but will work great with anyone.

3. Swype

Swype is a keyboard that works best for a fast typist, because it allows you to move your finger from one key to another without lifting it form the touchscreen. It might get a little odd, when two keys are on the opposite ends of the keyboard, but after a while, you get used to it.

There is predictive typing and a text-to-speech engine built-in so that you can tranform your typing by speaking to the app, to have it write your words. It is a favorite of many people because of custom dictionaries, and the processing power provided by Dragon Dictation and Naturally Speaking engines from Nuance.

4. The Default Keyboard On Gingerbread

The intuitiveness of the keyboard placed by developers on Gingerbread continues to receive accolades from many people. Already other keyboard version have sprout out of its main idea to become independent apps. Gingerbread running device owners have had very little urge, if any, of replacing their keyboards. It’s not all of them who enjoy the keyboard because skinned devices don’t have it.

If you have a HTC running Android 2.3 Gingerbread, you could still be missing the default keyboard. The keyboard supports multi touch and makes it easy for anyone to type faster. It is a great design and an improvement from the default keyboard of android 2.2 and thus offers a more precise aim for your fingers. There are now free and paid versions available on Google play store. This keyboard lets you put symbols into the text prediction box; so, that you easily access them as you type.

5. Smart Keyboard

Smart keyboard pro is the best tool for you if you want to customize the look and feel of your keyboard. For example, you can resize the keys and create shortcuts. It is possible to lock the keyboard, and by default, it supports multi touch. The smart keyboard will let you press and hold to type a symbol, instead of pressing the numbers key and then looking for a symbol key to press.

The cumbersomeness does not exist with the smart keyboard pro and for the convenience; you will have to pay a hefty price on the Google play store. The design of the smart keyboard makes it suitable for a person who best types by touching each individual key.
Not everyone has the same typing habit or the same taste when it comes to keyboard; therefore, a good way to know the best keyboard for your device is to consider your typing preferences and then test one app after another, until you settle for what works best for you.
